FAQs
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
All croissant pastries (besides specials) are on the counter between 7:30-8:00AM. Breakfast focaccias come out at 10AM. Lunch sandwiches come out at 11AM.
If you are coming for something specific, it’s best to come close to those times to avoid disappointment.
What time do you sell out?
It depends on the day. Most pastries are sold out by noon or earlier. Breakfast focaccias usually sell out by 10AM. Sandwiches will sometimes sell out by 1-1:30PM on our busiest days, which are usually Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We close up shop once we are sold out of everything.
I see the lunch sandwiches being made, why can’t i have one before 11am?
Our team has to start preparing lunch sandwiches well in advance of 11am in order to have a full spread available at the time we have promised our patrons, which is 11am. With our open kitchen, we have nowhere to “hide” the finished sandwiches, but we cannot start selling them in advance or we will inevitably sell out of some before 11am, which would undermine the timetable we have promised our patrons.
why can’t you just make more?
Our space is small and almost all of the items we make require 3 days of prep, which takes up a lot of our available space over the course of that time. We utilize every available inch to bake as much as we can!
do you allow dogs in the bakery?
No. Per NYC Department of Health, only service animals are allowed inside a food service establishment, and we have to follow the law.
can we place a pre-order for pickup or delivery?
We do not offer pre-orders, catering, or delivery. All of our products are baked on premise daily and available exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis. That being said, we can put together a large box for any of our retail patrons.
